HSA/FSA Use:

If you plan to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to pay for mental health services, you may need to provide documentation to your HSA or FSA provider. The specific requirements for documentation can vary depending on the provider, so it is important to check with your provider to determine what documentation is needed.

As your mental health provider, we will work with you to provide appropriate documentation, such as a detailed receipt or a formal letter, that includes the information needed by your HSA or FSA provider. By doing so, we can help ensure that you are able to use your HSA or FSA funds to pay for the mental health services you need. If you have any questions about using your HSA or FSA to pay for mental health services, please do not hesitate to ask.

Insurance

At this time, Ignite Wisconsin does not take any insurance. As a mental health provider, we believe that everyone should have access to quality mental health care services. However, we have made the decision not to accept insurance as a form of payment for services at this time.

There are several reasons for this decision. Firstly, insurance companies often have strict requirements and regulations for mental health care providers. These requirements can be time-consuming and bureaucratic, which takes away from the time and attention that we can devote to our clients. Additionally, insurance companies often dictate the length and type of treatment that we can provide, which can limit the scope of care that I can offer.

Secondly, we believe that therapy is a personal and individualized process. Each client has unique needs and circumstances, and we want to be able to tailor the treatment approach to each individual. When working with insurance, we are often limited in the amount of time and flexibility we can provide in treatment plans.

Finally, we believe that therapy is a significant investment in one's mental health and well-being. By paying for therapy out-of-pocket, clients have more control and autonomy over their treatment plan. They can also rest assured that their privacy is protected, as insurance companies require access to confidential information in order to approve payment for services.
